Roadtripping PDX: Part Three

This has been a lovely, fairly bland-scenery drive through the heart of America. We are halfway to Portland with only a small stretch of Idaho ahead before reaching the Oregon border.

Last night’s stop was in Salt Lake, which boasted a glittering skyline and soaring purple mountains. Fitting, since for some unknown reason I always envisioned Utah as being purple.

Still ten hours from home, and onward we go!

More exciting ventures to be posted soon. (You have a killer sandwich writeup on the way. Because I jut photographed the most stunning sandwich of my life. Literally, my whole life.)

Stay tuned!
